My Rushmore Documentary

A documentary the Glasgow Band My Rushmore.

This here was my first major video project with the Music scene, I've shot many other video's for bands (Primarily set recordings) but this here I felt is the most interesting to showcase due to the multi media format. The project itself was full of challenges, the main one being the band temporarily breaking up and changing members during the recordings which really messed up the flow as well as representation of the band. But at the point the break up happened the documentary was close to release, After discussion with the band we decided we want to share it as is without edits as more of a time capsule to the origins of the band even if all the members are no longer present. Beyond that it was always a case of finding space and time to record and shoot between show's sometimes even and during songs just to acquire the footage itself. It didn't always work out but what did turned out really great (and what didn't wasn't included in the doc). Overall though it was a very good experience and My Rushmore are a great band to work with.
